Frankie's Story

Frankie Falkner

Frankie Falkner grew up in a family that valued compassion and service. Frankie was influenced by her parents, who were dedicated members of their local church. This backdrop instilled in her a sense of purpose and a commitment to helping others. Frankie pursued higher education at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where she graduated with a degree in nursing. Her time at Baylor not only equipped her with medical knowledge but also nurtured her leadership skills and compassionate outlook on life.

She began teaching preschoolers over 45 years ago. Recognizing that these formative years are critical in a child’s development. Frankie dedicated herself to creating an enriching environment where children could explore their curiosity and develop a foundation in understanding and trusting Jesus. She wrote curriculum for churches to use with preschools. Frankie's experience with preschoolers also led her to speak at various conferences aimed at assisting teachers working in churches. She shared her insights on best practices for meeting the unique needs of preschoolers and how to create a strong foundation in their journey of faith.

Frankie partnered with her husband, Bill, in a unique life journey filled with service and devotion. Together, they served with the International Mission Board for 22 years. Frankie and Bill's life together has grown  with unwavering love, faith, and adventure. They have raised two sons, Gavin and Kyle, who followed in the footsteps of their parents to become compassionate Christian men with their own families.
